Question of the Day

My question of the day is: why is the sky blue? (If anyone knows, u really don't know, u just think you know, but u really don't)

  2. OH! I think I may have an answer... The sky is blue because the molecules in the air scatter more blue light from the sun rather than red. Someone told me this once...very recently actually =)

  4. I think i remember someone telling me that i might have had something to do with the ocean being blue and reflecting somehow into the sky. Idk i might be remembering it wrong.

  5. The sky is blue because water molecules in the sky refract visible light waves so that they turn blue. Which is why water is blue, it reflects the color of the sky, so on a grey Seattle day Lake Washington will look grey because it is acting like a mirror.
